DOCUMENT SIGNING & LOAN CLOSING PROTOCOLS

Caring for our community compels us to do our best to protect the health and safety of our guests, employees and local communities.

For the time being, Silver Leaf will keep operating normally and we as a team will be taking all the recommended measures to minimize the impact of the virus.

Unfortunately, loan documents do have to be signed and many must be notarized and there is simply no option for online document notarization at this time.

This requires that our professionals meet directly with clients to get essential documents signed and notarized. To ensure the safety and well being of our clients, employees and partners, we are following the most recent guidance closely.

For Applications and document signings:

All Silver Leaf employees will take extreme measures to ensure safety of clients and limit exposure:

  • All Silver Leaf Staff will wear protective gear such as masks and disposable gloves when meeting clients.
  • Staff will maintain a safe distance from clients.
  • Client should use their own pen or newly sterilized pens will be provided.
  • As needed, we can provide documents for “porch” signing and answer any questions thought the door mor over the phone.

For Loan Closings and document signings:

Our partners at Canyon Title will be doing everything they can as well to ensure the health and safety of our clients, staff and Notaries.

  • Our first priority is that we want to accommodate our borrowers, so they feel comfortable with the closing, whatever that means.
  • The closing should take approx. 35 Min to 1 Hour depending on questions the borrowers may have.
  • All Notaries or other staff will wear protective gear such as masks and disposable gloves when meeting clients.
  • Staff will maintain a safe distance from clients.
  • Client should use their own pen or newly sterilized pens will be provided.
  • As needed, we can provide documents for “porch” signing and answer any questions thought the door or over the phone.

With these protocols in place, we believe we can continue serving the important needs of our clients by operating normally and we as a team will be taking all the recommended protocols above to minimize the impact of the virus.

For our Clients, should you get sick or start to present with symptoms, please notify us immediately. We will reschedule any necessary meetings and work with you in every way possible to assist. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to call. We will do our very best to assist in any way we can.

We will continue to track COVID-19 updates and directives from federal and local officials and medical experts and will continue to follow their guidance in the days and weeks ahead.
