The Sr. Loan Processor will be responsible for leading the loan processing team. Primary responsibility is ensuring accurate, compliant and complete processing of loan files and overseeing processing production management, all while meeting every scheduled deadline and closing date. This team position requires constant verbal and written communication with Loan Officers, external partners and others on the team while maintaining an awesome positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Depending on business demands, process and/or carry a pipeline of loans.
• Ensure that loan obligations, all processing and deadlines are met on each and every loan.
• Review and confirm documents are present, accurate, and complete before submitting.
• Maintain appropriate contact with clients throughout the loan process.
• Collect documentation required such as appraisals, prelim, credit supplements, fraud reports, homeowners insurance, tax transcripts and verifications of employment (VOEs), VOMs, VODs, and VORs, income documentation, etc.
• Update loan applications and processing updates within the Company LOS.
• Ensure that all loan conditions are met and notify LO’s and management when issues arise.
• Bring solutions to enhance process flow and friendly communication skills to implement new processes and procedures.
• Oversee daily volumes, monitory workloads, and assist in meeting service level standards
• Assist the loan processors with questions and issues on guidelines and loan files.
• Coordinate and assign Loan Processor workload and workflow
• Assist in daily pipeline management and reporting on Projected to Close, Timeline Exception, Loan Approval Conditions and Processing Exception Management.
• Mentor new loan processors and provide guidance and training to new and existing Loan Processors.
• Lead performance management activities for department re; set goals and objective, conduct performance reviews, and establish development plans.
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of Residential loan processing experience
• Experience processing Reverse Mortgage loans is preferred
• Processing of all loan types (Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA) essential
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of product; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal team and external partners
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a changing environment

Compensation including Salary and Production Bonus plans are above market and dependent upon candidates prior management and work flow experience.
